Mermaid Cottages sponsors a Guide Dog Puppy each year. This year we’re actually sponsoring two puppies and the newest puppy- Berkeley Springs ( or Berkeley as we’re going to call him) is coming by for a quick visit so we can meet him before he heads to Florida with Sandy his puppy walker who’ll have him for the next 18 months to socialize and start the basic training. Lots more to come on Berkeley. He’s been named to honor my step dad Bob who died earlier this year- Berkeley Springs was his beloved hometown and I couldn’t think of another name that would be better to remember Bob!
