Tybee Beautification coordinates several trash pick ups over the year. They pick up trash along Highway 80 from the Lazeretto Creek Bridge all the way down past Seaside Sisters. They also organize the Beach Sweeps where hundreds of volunteers show up. We picked up trash last Saturday AM and another trash pick up / flower planting is scheduled for Downtown Tybee . This is a picture of several other volunteers from Savannah State College who are always helping out with this efforts. I stumbled onto your blog site surfing for fun things to do and I love it. My husband and I drive down a couple of times a year to Savannah and the best part is our time at Tybee. We usually stay at a hotel but the cottages are so darn cute, we will consider renting one for our next trip.
