Rip Tide ~
Hello to all of Mermaid Cottages readers. Diane has expressed concern over my Rip Tide blogger ID. While I realize how dangerous rip currents are this was to wonderful to resist for my non food related blog posts. The “Rip tide” was a bar which a dubious reputation in the town I grew up in. After struggling with an oceanic theme, a list of ocean lore related buzz words was given to me. There were words that triggered a childhood memory and Rip Tide was born. I was just concerned that you may think I was being flip or in anyway disrespectful. Be assure that is not the case. In the recent conversation with Diane Neptune’s Fork Developed as the food posts Moniker. Just so you know that both are coming from me.
