“We had a lovely stay at charming “Screened Inn”. The cottage was just as it appears in the photos online and was perfect for myself, my daughter, parents and sister. We loved the screened in porch, the cozy kitchen, the comfy living area and the beds were absolutely heavenly to sleep in. The access to the park and the beach was easy and convenient. We drove into Savannah on several occasions and found it to be a quick and uncomplicated drive. Would recommend Crab Shack and Fannies on Tybee, Old Savannah Trolley Tours, Wormsloe Historic Site, Bonaventure Cemetery, River Street, Tybee Island Light Station and the beautiful beaches of Tybee. We’ll be back!!! The Mermaid Cottages staff was wonderful!!”

This home has been totally re-decorated and designed. The cottage now offers two full baths and an additional “water closet!” Layla Palmer of The Lettered Cottage was our decorator and she even wrote an e-magazine about her work. Screened Inn is full of art from local artists and vintage finds, comfy furniture, and best of all, the extra-large screened porch with rocking chairs. Truly a southern charmer of a home!
