We all need the Glamporous life!

Tybee Island is a fantasy come true for your back to nature adventures.  Now, of course, being Mermaids and all means we just have to have running water of some sorts, so we’ve got just the right amount of “roughing it” throughout our collection of historic cottages.  When you’re in the mood for camping with a glamorous touch come go glamping!

Some of our rentals have cute little “nests” separate from the main cottages.  You can leave your traveling companions to enjoy each other in the main cottage while you escape to your little hideaway out back (see Bluebird Cottage & Nest circa 1900 and Old Love Cottage circa 1921).

Sleepovers are at their best with the luxury of our sleeping porches.  You can sleep out in the tropical night air or just enjoy  nature sounds with an island beat for your daytime naps and reading pleasure (Brooks Cottage and Cottage on the Green “B circa 1929“).

Spend your days wiling away along the marsh filled with the sights and sounds of our shore birds and barrier island habitats.  Enjoy lazy days filled with fishing, crabbing and exploring our coastal ecology (see Crabby Pirate circa 1940, Fiddler on the Creek circa 1940, Heron Hideaway, Horsepen Creek Cottage & Dock circa 1949, Madelyn’s on the Marsh circa 1940, Paws and Paddles and Tybee Tides circa 1930).

Each of our cottages indulges your love of nature and the sun with our luxurious outdoor showers and don’t worry about setting the mood when you glamp, either.  Put together a spectacular jungle ensemble from Seaside Sisters, complete with baubles, aprons  and accoutrements that’ll make your campmates growl.  You’ll also want to stock up our scent-sational Mermaid Morning Bliss coffee for those morning wake-ups and our beach scented candles because everything is more romantic by candlelight!  Pick up a retro camping book or one with tips on how to trick out your glamping style. And, you’ll find just about any whatchamacallit or thingamajig you’ll need to uncork that fabulous wine or locally brewed beer you’ve been saving for a special occasion!
