Anyone can make a bed, but it really takes a skilled Mermaid to create a sanctuary where you get the most of your sleep time. Our Mermaids work with our cottage owners to help find just the right mattresses, pillows and beddings for each bedroom and we help create some pretty special daybeds. sleeping porches and hammocks, too. Layla and Kevin Palmer of The Lettered Cottage completely redecorated our Enlisted Mens Mess Hall circa 1929. They created this dreamy twin bedroom that’s perfect for sleepovers with a friend or even for a little vacation from your bed partner (especially if he or she tends to hog the bed you share at home). Enlisted Men’s Mess Hall circa 1929 is a Tybee landmark originally built as a soldiers’ mess hall. It’s pet friendly with a fenced-in yard, a wrap around screened porch and it’s just a short walk to the beach. This little charmer is located in historic Ft. Screven Officer’s Row and it’s full of history!
Paula Deen’s Y’all Come Inn is Paula’s personal beach retreat that’s available for your vacation! Your stay includes special Paula Deen goodies, a personalized cookbook from Paula and VIP reservations for Lady & Sons restaurant. Paula personally selected the furniture, beds and beddings from her furniture collections and then staged the home with the help of Brandon Branch, her Style Director.
Brooks Cottage has three screened porches and there’s even a magical sleeping porch where kids will love to bunk (Who are we kidding? Most of the adults call dibs out here, too!). This is a great house for family get-togethers and it has a fully fenced yard, also!
What could be more romantic than climbing up into this luxurious four poster bed? Inlet Seaclusion is an elegant, yet affordable, dog-friendly raised Tybee cottage on the south end near the Back River. The Widow’s Walk gives you one of the best vantage points on the island from which to enjoy Tybee’s gorgeous sunsets!
