A Whole Month of Puppy Love With Mermaid Cottages

February will soon be here and this year it brings a whole month of Puppy Love with Mermaid Cottages! You already know we feature pet friendly cottages, volunteer with pet rescues and sponsor puppies for Guide Dog and Service Dog training, so for a whole month we just want to focus on Puppy Love. Certainly, some people will be making goo-goo eyes at someone special for Valentine’s Day and some will laissez ruler les bon temps for Mardi Gras Tybee. We’re just a bit more partial to ear scratching and tail wagging and long walks with our best furiends. It’s Puppy Love and we’re inviting your Wag Packs to come enjoy it, too!

Dogs stay free the entire month of February 2015. That’s right. There will be no pet fees for dogs from February 1 through February 28, 2015. When you book your reservations online or talk with the Mermaid-on-Duty, just use our February Special Code: LOVE.
In addition, guests with dogs staying February 6-15, 2015 will receive a free photo shoot as part of your visit. The photos will be sent to each guest electronically and you can also arrange to have them professionally printed for purchase. Pets can sit for their own portraits and we’re okay if their well-behaved humans get in the pictures, too.
Most of our cottages are dog friendly and some of them are just purrfect for cats, too. We’re celebrating Puppy Love, but your February stay can be just as cat-tastic, too. Just check our collection for our cat friendly cottages or ask a Mermaid when you call.

We can also help you plan special Puppy Love adventures to Fort Pulaski and recommend areas for hiking. Some of our Tybee Island charter services will even welcome your dog aboard for a pawsome adventure to Little Tybee.
