Tybee Island’s nondenominational service will be April 17, 2022 and all are welcome. There’ll be plenty of pastel colors to complement the sunrise with casual island attire and flip-flops, too. Tybee Island Songwriters Festival

Tybee Island Songwriters Festival will be April 7th – 9th, so be on the lookout as tickets will go on sale soon. This second annual event will have multiple venues at Pier 16, The Rock House and Fannies on the Beach. Songwriter rounds make for a great show as audiences truly get “up close and personal” with the songwriters! The classic format of a round has three to four songwriters on stage. One performs a song, followed by the next writer, and the next, and so on. Each songwriter can join in with the others, add harmonies, contribute a guitar riff, or just listen. Writers talk about how and why they wrote the songs, and there are always lively stories and interaction between the writers and 20+ rounds will be performed over the three days. Just take a look at some of the multi-talented songwriters coming to perform for you.

Junk and disorderly. Yep, it’s time for the famous Tybee Island Wide Spring Yard Sale, y’all! You can bet the Mermaids and our Mermaid Guests will be careening all over the island in search of fabulous stuff we don’t need. It’s all going to be just so fabulous we can’t live without it!

The Tybee Island Wide Spring Yard Sale will be held Saturday, March 26 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. with dozens of yard sales across the island. Pick up a map of yard sale locations on Friday, March 25 from Fish Art Gallerie, yard sale founder; or at the Tybee Visitor Center. There will also be a yard sale in half the parking lot at the Tybee Visitor Center.
