My name is Elizabeth Rose. I am a middle school principal in Roane County, TN. Two years ago I made a reservation to stay in your rental, Old Love. I was so excited and fell in love with the place and Tybee the moment I arrived. The day of the arrival, we spent the day on the beach, rode bikes, then went to dinner. At dinner we receive a phone call that our college age child’s best friend had been in a car accident, hit by a train. We packed up and drove all night back to Tennessee. I was so needing that vacation and looked forward to it. I have thought about Tybee Island and your beautiful cottages many times since and would love to be able to return. Unfortunately, due to circumstances I was not able to receive a refund on the rental and lost the full payment on the rental cottage. With the discount you are offering now for educator’s … do you have anything at all available for a resonable price for two people during the dates of October 11 – 15?
I look forward to your response and hopefully a Tybee Island “do-over” sometime in the near future.
