We're gonna need a bigger weekend.It’s Tybee Island.  We’re gonna need a bigger weekend.  Y’all know when you Fall in love with our little barrier island you just can’t get enough.  That’s why we have to start our weekends on Thursdays (and sometimes we just have big weekends that last for weeks!).  Get your eyes wide open because you’ll need ’em to be gawking to take in all we have going on!

Thursday, September 18th, our Fall Third Thursday Concert Series kicks off at 5:30 p.m.  Join in the celebration at Tybee Island Pier and Pavilion for a concert to recognize the Third Thursday! Every Third Thursday, the city of Tybee holds a concert at 5:30 p.m. for the public to enjoy. Come out and join the locals as we jam out to this free concert.  The Pier and Pavilion is located at the intersection of Strand Avenue and Tybrisa Street.

Then, from 7-9 p.m., it’s Dinner and a Movie!  Tybee’s newest restaurant sensation, the Tybee Island Fish Camp, hosts a fabulous four-course dinner, each course paired with the perfect wine and movie trivia questions!

On Friday, September 19th, it’s Friday night at the movies! At 7 p.m. it’s safe to come watch Jaws under the stars at the Tybee Light Station. 
Bring your beach chairs and blankets and we’ll have freshly popped movie popcorn, beer, wine and soft drinks for sale.

Celebrate The End Of Tybee Spring

Tom CoolerCome celebrate the end of Tybee’s Spring.  The final concert performance for the spring series of Third Thursdays on Tybee is May 15th.  Come join us down by the Tybrisa/Strand Roundabout in downtown Tybee. Bring a chair, stroll the shops and grab a bite to eat while you enjoy music by the sea.

This springtime finale will feature Tom Cooler.  As a local songwriter, Cooler enjoys life along the coast of Georgia and he’s looking forward to sharing his inspired-by-life songs for all ages to enjoy.
