It’s October and we’re sharing our five best tips for a boo-tiful Tybee Island Getaway!

Pirates will soon be in Tybee Island, but first we’re going to watch them under the stars.  On Friday, October 3rd, “Pirates of the Caribbean” will be showing on the Lighthouse lawn.  Bring your beach chairs and blankets and let’s kick off Tybee Island Pirate Fest early.  The gates open at 7 p.m. and the movie starts promptly at 8.  Help us raid these pirates’ chests to open the doors of the Tybee Post Theater!

I.C.E.  (Island Car Enthusiasts) is revving up for their 6th Annual Car Show and their Tybee “ICE” Run.  From 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on October 4th at the 14^th Street beachfront parking lot, get ready to gawk at one of the finest gatherings of pristine hot rods and other vintage cars.

During the I.C.E. Car Show, there will also be the Tybee I.C.E Run at the Ocean Reef Hotel at 9:00 a.m.  The Tybee I.C.E Run is for a good cause, as it raises money for Autism Awareness!  Registration is open online.  The I.C.E.
