Where Does Your Good Go? The Rescue of Rapa

where does your good goWhere does your good go?  Within each of us is a capacity for doing good for others and when we do this good the rewards are great.  This entry is part of a blog series about how our Mermaids Make A Difference.  It’s not a platform for us to just talk about our good deeds and to pat ourselves on the back.  It’s an opportunity to share our passions and to inspire others.  We don’t all have to be passionate about the same things, but it is important for each of us to be open to helping others.  Some people are fortunate enough to have lots of time and resources to do great things.  Others with less resources can make just as much of an impact.  We just have to do good when and where we see the need.  Have you thought about it?  Where does your good go?

Mermaids Make A Difference At Second Harvest

The mission of the food bank is to feed the hungry by distributing nutritious food to nonprofit agencies and at risk elderly and youth, to assist in disaster relief, and work towards long term solutions to hunger and poverty. Their statement of purpose is “Utilizing food and education to improve lives and create a Hunger-Free community”. …
