Mermaid Cottages will assume responsibility to repair or replace accidental damage as needed. This damage protection benefit does not negate your responsibility as a tenant to take care of the rental home and report any accidental damage immediately. Damage Protection does NOT cover intentional damage, theft, gross negligence, pet damage, pay-per-view cable charges, Acts of God or loss of use. Any accidental damage must be reported to our office immediately and before the end of your stay in order for Damage Protection to apply.
After guest departure, a Mermaid Cottages inspector will carefully inspect the home to ensure that it is left reasonably clean and free of unreported damage.
