CandyLand of Cottages

Look how beautiful this sunflower is by one of our cottage picket fences!

We love wicker and we especially love vintage wicker. Here are two examples of great old wicker that has been freshly painted and new pillows. It is truly amazing what a coat of fresh paint can do!

I love to find vintage bird prints or botanicals. Not the real thing- they are way too expensive. But the prints by Gould or Audubon are what I look for. Found this great one of sea birds in an old junk store on the panhandle of Florida. Now just need to find the perfect old picture frame for this treasure!

I just love this wreath! So simple yet so perfect for a beach cottage

I think this is my favorite cottage detail. I love discovering bird nests on my bike rides and dog walks around the island. This one has a place of honor on my mantel!
