Tybee Island is just like being in the movies.  It’s the perfect setting for a Girls Getaway where you and your gal pals can enjoy some of the great on screen moments that have given you the best of memories.  New movies in production and productions already filmed here have brought us visits from stars such as Chris Evans, Ben Affleck, Whoopi Goldberg, Miley Sirus and Robert De Niro and Tybee has been quite the scene stealer for other feature films shot here, as well.  Whether it’s a classic road trip with your besties, that last hurrah with your posse before a trip down the aisle, some bonding time in the form of a sister-cation or a one tank trip when the girls just wanna have sun, this is the place where those quips and quotes from the screen come to life.

Tybee is a great place to mull about the Farmers Market on Mondays, shop for art in the local galleries or when the Tybee Arts Association has art shows and sales at the Tybee Lighthouse, or  over to Seaside Sisters when you need  that perfect gift and a delicious gelato at Sweetie Pie’s after a day of shopping.
