Please always be careful when looking towards the sun. For the eclipse, you’ll want to make sure you only use genuine solar eclipse glasses. Also, please make plans to keep your pets indoors while the eclipse is happening. Most of our cottages are pet friendly, so we’d rather you leave them in your cottage rather than to risk damage to their sight.

Enlisted Men’s Mess Hall circa 1929
This Tybee landmark was originally built as a soldiers’ mess hall. It has been completely restored. It’s pet friendly, has a fenced yard, and a wraparound screened porch. It’ also just two blocks to the beach!
Dutton-Waller Cottage circa 1938
This historic Tybee raised cottage was built by Mrs. Waller as her family’s summer home! It has been beautifully restored and it’s located in the Back River District. Guests love the very easy walk to AJ’s Dockside, to the Alley 3 Kayak Launch, and to the Back River Fishing Pier.
