Ms. Opal’s Cottage is an adorable two-bedroom, two-full-bath vintage Tybee beadboard cottage. It is located on the south end of the island near the back river and only a couple of blocks walk to the beach, pier, restaurants, and shops.
Both bedrooms have a queen bed each and each bedroom has a flat-screen TV.
One bathroom has a clawfoot tub/shower and the second bathroom has a walk-in shower (no tub).
The kitchen has been beautifully updated with stainless steel appliances.
The backyard features beautiful landscaping and an 11′ X 23′ backyard saltwater pool, outdoor lounging furniture, and a pool house. What a treat for Ms. Opal’s guests. Your very own private pool! Additionally, the pool house is stocked with games, books, and puzzles.
The front porch, a classic Tybee screened porch, features Adirondack chairs, rocking chairs, and an outdoor dining area.

We just stayed at Ms. Opal’s Cottage, and it was a wonderful vacation. The house works well for a couple or one with children, and the kitchen is well equipped for someone like me who likes to cook. The heated pool is fabulous, and the poolhouse is a charming place to sit, lunch, have a drink, a nap, or just play one of the many games that the owner thoughtfully provided.
