Take a selfie with a sea turtle? Well, it is sea turtle nesting season on Tybee Island and most of the action takes place in the dark of night. These nesting mommies are on a mission, so they may not welcome the intrusion or any flash of light. The solution? Plan to stay at our Blue Skies for your next Tybee vacation. A very colorful sea turtle also lives there in the front and she never minds posing for photos with our guests!

Blue Skies is a beautiful, newly updated and decorated beach townhome full of art by local artists; the only thing missing is you.

This is a “beach side” of Butler Avenue home with a fully fenced yard. Pack your wags. All pets welcome.

There are three bedrooms, all with queen beds and 2.5 bathrooms. Each bedroom has a TV plus there’s a TV room off of the living room and a small TV in the kitchen.

The ground floor bedrooms each have a queen bed and there is a full bath on the ground level as well with a shower/ tub combo. The second floor has a master bedroom with its own bathroom. There is also a half bathroom off the kitchen.

 

There are beach access walkovers at 12th and 13th Streets.

The large side yard is fully fenced. It’s a beautifully landscaped yard that has plenty of room for dogs to run and with patio/garden seating. It’s a tropical oasis that’s full of live oaks and other mature landscaping.

Another of our Mermaid Cottages brand standards is a beautiful outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Yes, this one is divine.

Blue Skies is pet-friendly with no restrictions regarding size or number of pets. Your stays in our pet friendly Mermaid Cottages help us sponsor puppies to be raised and trained as Guide Dogs and Service Dogs and they also help us sponsor pet rescues, pet fosters, pet transports and pet fosters.

Snowbirds are always welcome and now is the best time to plan your winter soirees and getaways to Tybee Island lasting from one to three months.
