Woodie’s Place invites you to enjoy this family beach cottage steeped in Tybee history and located in the heart of Tybee Island. It has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, an open kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a spacious living area.
The living area features a flat-screen TV with cable TV service.
The bedrooms are peaceful and serene with muted soft decor. Each bedroom is equipped with a flat-screen TV accessible for Roku streaming.
This home has greater ADA accessibility than the average home with wide doorways, wide halls, and handicap bars in both bathrooms.
The home also has access to a lift (with prior approval) directly to the primary bedroom and is wheelchair-accessible.
Take advantage of the outdoor kitchen with a back-to-back outdoor sink and built-in Coca-Cola cooler!
Play one of the many outdoor games, including cornhole, while you grill your hamburgers and hotdogs on the charcoal grill and enjoy a cold drink from the cooler!

Woodie, the cottage’s namesake, is a special Tybee local who can no longer live alone. The family wants to continue the tradition of her amazing hospitality by sharing her home.
It has been renovated with new comfy beds and cool beachy decor throughout the home!
Anyone who knows Woodie and comes to Tybee always goes by Woodie’s place before hitting the beach. Through the years Woodie and her husband Charlie loved sharing their home with everyone. A visit, a meal, a cool drink, and of course that piece of candy from the candy dish!! This is an extraordinary home with complimentary covered parking for two vehicles.
