A new bath makes a big splash on Tybee Island and we want you to come see it!  The off season may be when fewer people are enjoying beach getaways, but it’s definitely the time when our cottages all get deep cleans and new updates.  If you’ve ever been on a Girls Getaway, a family beach trip or had a Big Chill weekend with friends, you know it can be a real challenge to get everyone ready and out the door for meals and nights on the town.  So, if there’s ever an update that guests really appreciate, it’s a new bath.

Mermaid Cottages has long supported the birthplace of preservation in  Savannah, GA – the Davenport House Museum. This beautiful, fully restored  1830’s house was saved over 60 years ago by seven ladies in pearls who  literally stopped the bulldozer from tearing this home down. The 2017 Annual Fundraiser is always a terrific Savannah event!
