I spent Thanksgiving up in North Carolina with my daughter this year. Of course, we had to shop, and wouldn’t you know it…I spotted a mermaid! Funny how many you see in the mountains, isn’t it?
This lovely lady was spotted at the Ooak Gallery in Micaville, NC. And the name isn’t a misspelling either…it’s short for One of a Kind! Cool play on words, and a very unique gallery!
Don’t forget to share your mermaid sightings with us so we can share them with everyone! Send your pictures to firstname.lastname@example.org…we can’t wait to hear from you!
There are so many fabulous holiday decorations in the shop right now, your head will spin! Make sure you stop by and do a little Christmas shopping! Don’t forget…Saturday, December 5th, is the annual Shop ‘n’ Stroll…there will be fun by the bucket load! This is a super fun, island wide event, so make sure you pick up your map for the treasure hunt while you shop! Seaside Sisters is even offering gift certificates from other local businesses like Coastal Fitness and Wellness for the occasion! Coastal Fitness and Wellness is a fabulous place, and they just settled into their newly expanded studio! New for December is Hot Stone Therapy, just perfect for de-stressing from all that holiday madness! There’s so much going on here for the holidays…Tybee is the place to be!

I just love when people search out mermaids in the world, but I especially love when someone finds mermaids and invites them into their very own home! This beautiful lady lives in Fellow Mermaid Ronnie Tucker’s kitchen! Ronnie tells us she is the finishing touch to her recent kitchen-redo.
She is very unique, with arms and a tail that move! The artist, Sandy Mastroni, is definitely talented and you simply must see the rest of her work over on Etsy. Thank you for sharing your Kitchen Mermaid with us Ronnie! Happy cooking!
