I spent Thanksgiving up in North Carolina with my daughter this year. Of course, we had to shop, and wouldn’t you know it…I spotted a mermaid! Funny how many you see in the mountains, isn’t it?
This lovely lady was spotted at the Ooak Gallery in Micaville, NC. And the name isn’t a misspelling either…it’s short for One of a Kind! Cool play on words, and a very unique gallery!

This is a super fun, island wide event, so make sure you pick up your map for the treasure hunt while you shop! I just love when people search out mermaids in the world, but I especially love when someone finds mermaids and invites them into their very own home! This beautiful lady lives in Fellow Mermaid Ronnie Tucker’s kitchen! Ronnie tells us she is the finishing touch to her recent kitchen-redo.
