July 4th Beach Sweep
Come show your patriotism by cleaning up after the fireworks! Volunteers should meet at the Tybee Pavilion at 6:30 am for directions and supplies. Bags, gloves, grabbers and water will be provided. The Tybee Beautification Assoc will be hosting an Adopt-A-Highway cleanup on Thursday, June 21st at 5 pm in preparation of Rand McNally’s visit to Tybee next Friday as part of the beautiful small city in the USA competition. All residents and visitors are invited to participate. Each Tybee business is encouraged to send at least 2 employees to help with this effort. Volunteers should meet at the entrance to Tybee to pick up gloves, bags, and grabbers. If you can’t join us on the 21st, please pick an area to clean as your schedule allows.
