Mermaids are everywhere!  They’re in Annapolis, too!  This week’s Mermaid Sightings come from Rhonda, our Mermaid friend in Maryland.

“I found these in Annapolis last week.  The one with the tag is a fan for sale at Bed, Bath & Beyond. (They also had crab fans!).”

We even did a little checking and found that Maritime Autowash is a Best of Annapolis award winner!  “Maritime Autowash is a full time carwash utilizing state of the art hybrid technology.  We recycle 97% of our wash water and only use biodegradable detergents and waxes.”  They’re a leader in environmental conservation, just like us!

Mermaid Cottages announces Beach Retreats For Heroes

We’re inviting heroes currently serving in the United States Armed Forces and their families to come enjoy a Mermaid Cottages Beach Retreat this weekend.  We want to share our cozy cottages and our historic homes with those who serve as our way to say Thank You to our heroes.

Our men and women who serve in the military, their spouses, their children and their families are our modern day heroes who inspire us to make a difference.  Mermaid Cottages makes a difference by giving back to those who serve.

Our Beach Retreats For Heroes is open to the active military heroes who qualify:

*  One complimentary cottage per qualified active military service person and/or spouse or group of spouses, based on availability

*  Available dates are November 10,11,12 and 13, 2011

*  Includes all nightly cottage rental rates and taxes.  All you pay is the Housekeeping Fee and Pet Fee (if appliable)

*  Recreation, dining, entertainment and travel costs not included

Y’all Come Inn, again!  Paula Deen’s Tybee Island Beach House is so popular it’s been booked up pretty much since the Spring.  Maybe y’all tried to come when it was all booked up and maybe those of y’all that did come are ready to come back.  Well, we’re so tickled y’all love this place we want to say, “Y’all Come Inn, Again!”

From December 1, 2012 through February 28, 2013, if y’all book two nights we’ll give you a third night free!  And, if you can’t stay three nights we’ll take 10% off your two night stay!  It’s our way of saying Thank You for being our guests and to also encourage you to take another look if you’ve never been here before (if you’ve already booked a new stay between these dates we’ll be happy to make sure your booking includes one free night for bookings of three or more nights and a Maximum 10% discount if you only booked two nights).  It’s kind of like the preacher says in church, “The checkbook is the last to be converted.”  With this special offer you’ll find a visit to Paula’s beach house is so reasonable it’ll all be over but the shouting!
