I adore oysters! Fried, scalloped, oyster stew ( raw maybe not so much), oyster roasts all are some of my very favorite foods to enjoy!
For Thanksgiving I made scalloped oysters but the oysters came from the Northwest. They were tasted but big oysters really too big… I much prefer either my Tybee oysters or Chesapeake Bay / Eastern Shore oysters! I’m making Scalloped oysters with Chesapeake Bay standard size oysters. Just the right size! The oyster dish is all ready for the oven tomorrow and boy does it look good!
