This week’s Mermaid Tales features our vibrant Livin’ The Dream c1946!
Livin The Dream c1946 is our charming beach cottage located on Jones Avenue! This three bedroom beauty has 1.5 baths and sleeps seven. It’s a 1940’s cottage with lots of vintage charm that includes the wonderful bedding for which we’re famous. There’s a King bed, one queen bed, one double bed and a twin (the double and the twin are configured as bunk beds!)
This is a cottage that’s perfect for a family with kids and for those who require ground level functionality. It’s even accessible with a wheelchair ramp!
Livin’ The Dream’s spacious deck offers lots of seating for enjoying cocktails in the evening or Mermaid Morning Bliss coffee in the morning!
There are flat screen TVs in the living room, king bedroom and the queen bedroom. The beautiful dining table that seats eight comfortably with fun, orange chairs and another cute, aqua table with pink and green chairs and a separate bench. This table makes a great workstation/play station for laptops or kids’ play. (It’s a great space if kids need a separate place to dine.)
The living area is very spacious with beamed ceilings, a large flat screen TV, a comfy sofa, and ivory slipcovered chair and two great wicker side chairs separated by a darling aqua/cream striped table. Livin’ The Dream has been decorated in tones of aqua, orange, pink, red, and ivory and you’ll love the beachy bold colors! This color palette is followed throughout the cottage and it is truly a gem.
The kitchen cabinets have been updated in a bright, beachy turquoise and aqua and it’s fully stocked, including our very own Mermaid Morning Bliss Coffee! A washer and dryer is also located in the kitchen area.
Livin’ the Dream is located directly across from Memorial Park and the Tybee YMCA. The park features lots of picnic tables that are great for group gatherings and multi-family get-togethers. There’s even a beach volleyball court, basketball courts, and an awesome playground! All located right across Jones Avenue from Livin’ the Dream!
