Mermaids Make Halloween A Special Treat!

It’s going to be another fun filled celebration on Tybee Island when the Mermaids make Halloween a special treat!  You can be right in the middle of all the fun with a stay at Madelyn’s on the Marsh circa 1940.

Each year, the Mermaids help turn Lewis Avenue into a spook-tacular street for Trick or Treat delights.  Here are some photos from Lewis Avenue last year.  The Mermaids will be celebrating and giving out candy this year from Crabby Pirate Cottage circa 1940.  We’ll even be giving out Beach Bum Biscuits for the ghoulishly decked out pets that come Trick or Treating, too!

Madelyn’s on the Marsh circa 1940 is available, so give us a call and come join in all the boo-tiful fun!

 

What a charming beach cottage! From the polka dotted shutters to the back porch and to the comfy and cozy feeling everywhere in the cottage, you’ll just want to snuggle in and relax! Pets of all sizes are welcome as there is lots of running and playing space (please note the yard is not fully fenced).  The back yard has a picnic table and swing so you can enjoy the morning sunrise over the marsh. The marsh also has plenty of birds to watch for those of you who love birding! This cozy cottage is located on Lewis Avenue which is a family friendly street. The beach is a 15 minute walk (either walking down Lewis to 6th Street or walking down Butler Avenue). Don’t forget to look for the beach sayings that Leonard the Sandman has painted on the walls in the cottage!
