Savannah’s Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon is November 8th-9th and just around the corner. Tybee is right here for you! It is the perfect way to enjoy the best of both worlds, the beach and the city!
We want you to know it is easy for you to get to and from the Marathon Venue and your vacation rental with Mermaid Cottages. There will be shuttles available and you can pre-purchase round trip shuttle tickets as well as find out more about this upcoming event by clicking on this link. Tickets are $25 each. Runners & spectators may also use the shuttle. Many of our homes at Mermaid Cottages are right in close walking distance to the shuttle pick up locations for the marathon event. There are two pick up locations available on Tybee, 4th Street between Jones Avenue and Butler Avenue and Butler Avenue between 15th Street and 14th Street with two times for pick up: 5:00am & 5:30am. The ticket purchased is for a specific location, so please be sure to select the correct pick up location at checkout. Shuttle passes will not be mailed. ALL shuttle passes must be picked up at the Health & Fitness Expo on 11/6 and 11/7. Tybee Island is a pay to park community, so please plan to walk to the shuttle pick up locations. Return shuttles will leave from Forsyth Park (where the Finish Line is located) and will run continuously between 10:00am-4:00pm on Race Day only. Purchase Tybee Island Shuttle Pass
