Tybee Island is having a Save the Planet Party, so start planning your next great beach getaway where you can be environmentally responsible, too! We’re going to raise money to help provide paper and reusable bags to Tybee businesses who want to do the right thing without having to incur the upfront costs. You, too, can help us get started by saying no to plastic bags.
So, plan on being here with us on Saturday, August 8th when we gather down at Huc-A-Poos Bites and Booze from 3-9 p.m. There’ll be Live Music, a dunking booth, crafts, a corn hole tournament, face painting and lots of the Poo’s famous pizza! This is a great opportunity for you to be a Voluntourist and to make a difference. This Save the Planet party will be a way to raise awareness of the dangers and unnecessary use of plastic bags.. There are some healthier alternatives available and we all can be heroes of the ocean! Besides, who can resist great raffles for cool prizes and plenty of great music with acts like Flying Bacon Cheeseburgers, American Hologram, The Charlie Fog Band and Kita Mundi!
