How can you not FALL in love with Tybee Island when we have incredible end of Summer celebrations like The Night of the Golden Flip Flop? This gala reception and fundraiser is Friday, September 25 from 7-9 p.m., the evening before the upcoming Coastal Arts Fair. Just look at how we can put on airs:
• A “Sneak Preview” of some of the artwork that will be available during Saturday’s Coastal Arts Fair
• Judging for the ‘Golden Flip Flop Award’ by prominent judges and award presentation
• Cash bar available (your ticket will get you 1 free drink)
• Fabulous hor d’oeuvres
• Live music by jazz guitarist Jan Baynard
• ‘Step and Repeat’ photo booth with images by Savannah photographer, Georgia Walters
Dress is ‘Tybee Black Tie’, so y’all know we’ll be all gussied up (Hawaiian shirts and dressy flip flops). Ticket prices are $35 up to the day of the event and they can be purchased from any TAA Board Member with cash or check, or by credit card or PayPal on our website: www.TybeeArts.org (Tickets ARE limited, so hurry!). With all this high brow, lad-di-dah you’ll need an artsy Mermaid Cottage to help you put on airs. Just look at a few of the cottages we have available:

Located in the quiet, historic Officer’s Row section of North Beach near Ft. Screven. It’s ground level and just a seven minute walk to the beach. Fans of The Lettered Cottage will absolutely adore the décor created by Layla Palmer.

This gorgeous home comes with amazing marsh views and it’s just five short blocks from the beach. The third floor screened porch offers incredible views of the marsh for bird watching!
