A country coastal Christmas at Fish Camp Cottage circa 1950 is a safecation goal we all need. Your host Mermaids at Mermaid Cottages have been working to top our already high cleaning standards. We are following CDC guidelines to ensure you, your family and your friends are kept safe in our cottages. During this time, our housekeepers are paying even more attention to high-traffic surfaces and taking the additional time needed to make sure our cottages are extra-clean for your visit. Our check-in time of 4 p.m. is to allow our housing Mermaids sufficient time to clean, disinfect and inspect your cottage prior to your arrival. Fish Camp’s owner has also added lots of holiday cheer with her Christmas decorations and yuletide greetings. We know you’ll love this extra bit of cottage charm and coastal calm through the end of the year.
We love this bright and cheerful cottage and she’s been a cover girl for several magazines, articles and media posts over the years. Fish Camp Cottage is a true Tybee gem that is always a favorite vacation home among our guests.
Just driving up to this adorable cottage makes you happy and lets you know you’re on safecation. This cottage is a sensory delight from the driveway. You’ll walk through the fabulous yard with firepit, garden and plenty of seating for all, into this enchanting little cottage.
There are three bedrooms throughout the cottage. The first bedroom/sleeping area is right where you walk through the front door and has a trundle bed (2 twins). It’s Christmas cozy for lazing and snuggling.
The kitchen is bright, cheery and sparkling clean, with just about everything you need.
The living room has lots of spreading out space for reading and contemplating.
The main queen bedroom is next to a half bath and an office area, off the living room.
The second queen bedroom is a true treat, too. It’s next to the full bathroom that has a tub/shower combo.
Guests love that it has its own outdoor very private hot/cold shower ~ you’ll want to get clean in the rain in this fun treat!
Other amenities include a screened in porch and big back deck with partial marsh views. This cute little cottage packs a lot of coastal country charm into every space.
Multiple families traveling together keep Fish Camp Cottage at the top of their list of favorite locations since our adorable A Shore Thing circa 1949 is just three doors away. Tybee Tides Cottage circa 1930 is right behind Fish Camp and Coastal Joy is across the street! You could have a very safe Mermaid extended family gathering.
AJ’s Dockside Restaurant is just one block away and it’s the best place on the island to watch sunsets and to enjoy dinner and drinks. Fish Camp Cottage joyfully provides complimentary off-street parking for three cars.
