To ensure your safety while visiting our island, please review the precautions we are taking to keep everyone safe.

Our homes are being sanitized in accordance with CDC guidelines and regulations put forth by the state of Georgia and Chatham County, to ensure your health and safety. We are allowing adequate time between check out of the previous guest and check-in of the next guest for appropriate cleaning and sanitation. All surfaces in the property are cleaned and disinfected between each guest stay. All linens, dishware, and other service items available for use by guests have been washed and sanitized between each guest stay. The cleaning standards of our Mermaid House Managers have always been exceptional and our new enhanced cleaning standards are even more so.

Mermaid Cottages has always offered contactless check in and checkout services and we always will. We’ve always been ahead of the curve and this past year of challenges has proven our protocols are spot on.  Each time you make a new reservation, you’ll receive instructions that include directions and a lock box code. Our Customer Service line is always open to assist you. When you leave, you simply lock up, return your keys to the lock box and enjoy your memories until your next stay!

We’ve relaxed our cancellation policy to make sure we continue to meet the needs of our guests.  We’re in the business of serving our guests and creating exceptional vacation experiences. It’s the Mermaid way.
