School will be starting again soon and there’s still plenty of fun in the sun to be enjoyed. From August through Labor Day and on into November the beach goes on so don’t stop thinking about our happy little houses by the sea. - Had a wonderful stay on Tybee at this Mermaid Cottage. Everything was thought about…no bringing your own linens, dogs allowed, sand toys and beach chairs, laundry detergent, everything you need that normally we have to pack or buy. Close to the beach. Then we got a golf cart from Tybee Carts….they were so friendly. I know it was a busy weekend and everyone was so very nice! The cottage was right in the best location. With a golf cart, we toured the whole island. The cottage was small but had plenty of room for our family of four and two dogs. We had everything we needed for our trip. The little details were not missed. Their customer service was top-notch. I worked here years ago at the Fresh Air Home and wanted to bring my family back. Thank you for a wonderful trip!!!

- This cottage has been our home away from home for the past 4 summers, and we could not love it more. This year marked our 13th summer on Tybee, the majority of which were spent in Mermaid Cottages. The Mermaids tend to each and every need, ensure that cottages are spotless, and provided cottages at honest prices when so many cottage rentals inflated their costs after realizing that demand is so high this year. We have already booked for next summer, and we can’t wait to see you all again!

- Maddie’s on Jones was wonderful. Family of 4. Plenty of room. Loved not having to pack towels and sheets. Everything we needed was there for our stay. Great customer service. Clean and well kept.

- This was a perfect place for three landlocked mermaids to escape to the beach for a long weekend. Beautiful, impeccably restored house with everything we needed. We very much enjoyed the restaurants & shopping on the island as well.

- Excellent service! The Sail Loft is a beautiful home and decorated to perfection. Loved all the vintage touches. It was very comfortable for our family and a short walk to the beach.

- Had a wonderful time. Our first family vacation with the toddler twins. Plenty of space and lots of things to do. Easy walk to the beach and other activities. Easy drive to Savannah. The home was clean and well equipped. They checked on us during our stay.

- We stayed at the charming Tybee Twins through Mermaid Cottages for my daughter’s bachelorette trip! We had the best time! Tybee Twins was a quint and cozy place to stay! It has an old house charm with modern conveniences and up-to-date decor! And an awesome pool!!! I also loved the special touches made for our arrival… just beautiful! Just a side note. If you rent a golf cart, get a gas-powered one because the cord will not reach to charge an electric one … but unless you want to ride around with one on the island, which is fun, you really don’t need it. You can take your stuff to the beach in your car and unload and then take a short walk back to the beach if there’s no parking available (which you’ll have to pay to park) … just a helpful thought in hindsight. All in all, you will love Tybee Twins! We did!

- This is a fantastic addition to the cottages offered by Mermaid Cottages! The location, size (#of beds and baths) is perfect for 3 or 8! But let’s talk about the porch!! A screened porch on a house at the beach is a must for me and this one definitely gets 5 out of 5 stars. From the decor to the comfort to the overall ambiance…..it is almost perfection…The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Everything is just set up perfectly for a small group of friends to a larger family trip. Another winner!! Thank you Mermaid Cottages! There is just something about your cottages that bring on instant relaxation and allow me to slow down and just enjoy the house and my friends/travel partners. Talking, laughing, and bonding with a signature trip cocktail all happen on a perfect screened porch in a Mermaid Cottage on Tybee Island!
