Nora’s Cottage circa 1940 is all new and ready to welcome you for your fall and winter Tybee Island vacations. Each cottage has a soul and a story to be told. Nora’s new owner has completed her interpretation of its next chapter and we’re excited to share the updates with you. Can’t you picture yourself here?
This is an adorable, historic, 1940’s cottage. It has a wonderful screened porch, a delicious outdoor shower, and a backyard oasis with a private back deck. Located on the Tybee Island bike trail, it’s just three short blocks from the beach.
Think location, location, location. It’s just two blocks to the YMCA and the neighborhood playground. Guests love that it’s in a quiet residential neighborhood that makes for the perfect backdrop during your bike rides around the island.
Nora’s is a ground-level cottage that features original hardwood floors, artwork from location artists, and a bright sunny kitchen with everything you need for all your cooking needs.
There are even both traditional and K-cup coffeemakers so you can enjoy your complimentary sample of Mermaid Morning Bliss coffee, a special perk for all of our Mermaid Cottages’ guests.
You’ll find ideal indoor-outdoor living here. The private outdoor shower has hot and cold water. There’s a fenced backyard to be enjoyed by children and pets with an inviting back deck to everyone to enjoy the views. With charcoal and gas grills, there’s no limit to preparing your finest alfresco meals.
The wonderful screened front porch is where you’ll enjoy your morning coffee and evening cocktails.
Entertainment options include tons of board games and outdoor games. Cornhole, anyone?
