The cottage’s South End location is perfect for bicycle rides, leisurely strolls, and getting to the beach in no time flat. There are restaurants and shopping all within a few blocks, so there’s plenty of exploring to do.

If eating in is more your style, no worries! Your cottage has a fully equipped kitchen all set and ready for you to whip up fabulous meals without even leaving home! Enjoy the sleeping porches, spacious living areas, and beautiful garden (complete with grill!) in the fenced in yard. You can even bring your dog along, since Brooks Cottage is Fido friendly!

Welcome to #2 18th Lane on Tybee Island! This quiet location is home to one of our newest cottage offerings, Doyle’s on the Beach! If you long for ocean views and salty sea breezes, Doyle’s is definitely the perfect choice for you!

Your cottage is just steps away from the island’s beautiful beach, so you are never more than a few paces from endless beach combing, sun bathing, or nature watching. Doyle’s is right next door to another new Mermaid Cottage family member, Crabby Jo’s, so large groups can stay close, yet enjoy their own space!

The cottage if full of wonderful, quirky art from local and regional artists and, of course, has a fully equipped kitchen to suit all your needs. Brew a pot of Mermaid Morning Bliss coffee (in every cottage!) and enjoy Tybee’s beautiful sunrises over the waves each morning. It just doesn’t get better than that!

Doyle’s might be in a quiet locale, but you are still just a short walk, bike ride, or drive from everything Tybee Island has to offer. Your cottage is just a five minute trip from the amazing Tybee Island Lighthouse Station and Museum, or just ten minutes to the historic national treasure that is Fort Pulaski. There are also loads of things to do right downtown, like a visit to the Marine Science Center to learn more about the island and it’s ecology. Mermaid Cottages is no exception…we are super excited for the warmer weather and just can’t stop ourselves from primping, preening, and fluffing to our hearts’ content. Speaking of, Fish Camp Cottage is one of those newly fluffed and fabulous homes. The cottage’s owner has been hard at work over the winter collecting cool decor and freshening up for Spring!

Fish Camp Cottage is filled with fun art, comfy places to relax, and a beautiful garden in which to wile away many a lazy afternoon. The family room has a new 37″ High Def television with a BlueRay/DVD player, and the kitchen has been refreshed with paint and new touches as well! Stay connected with complimentary highspeed internet, or choose to unplug and take it easy. Bring your furry children to enjoy Tybee too, because your cottage is cat and dog friendly!

     Welcome to Mermaid Cottages’ newest cottage offering, Crabby Jo’s! This fabulous cottage is one home back from the ocean at Tybee’s beautiful South Beach. Crabby Jo’s has a beautiful wrap around porch, perfect for taking in the sweeping views of the island’s south end and cool ocean breezes.
     This circa 1930s vintage treasure is a comfortable fit for up to six guests, making it a great choice for families, groups of friends, or even a romantic couple’s retreat. Not to mention, the cottage is Fido Friendly, so you don’t have to leave them behind. There’s no fence, but your pooch can enjoy the outdoors with you as you stroll the quiet neighborhood or enjoy the wrap around porch!

This treasure of a cottage is in a wonderful location…an easy six blocks right down 14th Street to the beach and four blocks to Alley 3 at the Back River Fishing Pier, the main boat and Kayak launch area. Your cottage is also just one block from AJ’s Dockside Restaurant!
     You’re in the quiet Back River District of the island, yet close to everything Tybee has to offer. There are some very nice benfits, too! Captain Michael’s Coffee is included in the cottage, and yours to take home! AND…guaranteed reservations at Paula Deen’s Lady and Sons Restaurant as well as Uncle Bubba’s Restaurant.
