Sometimes, it is difficult to get away. Life doesn’t always allow you to get away long enough to make it out to Tybee Island. But you know something? There’s nothing stopping you from enjoying a little Tybee Time right where you are! That’s certainly what our friend Sandy did recently!
Tybee Time
Sandy and her friends Jan and Carol are all veteran travelers, being a Meeting Planner, Travel Agent, and Airlines Account Executive. They’ve been all over, but Tybee Island stole their hearts when the trio enjoyed a trip together this past May.
Sandy, Jan, and Carol are the best of friends and get together once a month for what they like to call SSD…that’s Soup, Salad, and Dessert. Well, SSD was at Jan’s home recently and boy, were Sandy and Carol surprised — Jan had brought a little bit of Tybee Island to Pittsburgh! Sandy shared a little about the party with us:
“To our surprise she had the dining room table spread with Tybee theme including Mary Kay Andrews new book! The coffee table was filled with seashells under candles and a “beachy” feel with white and sea blue décor. We took our shoes off and pretended we were back at Tybee Beach!”
How much fun is that? It just proves what we have always believed — Tybee isn’t just a place, it’s a state-of-mind! Thanks for sharing Sandy! We sure hope your Tybee party tides you over until y’all get the chance to visit with us again!
