Here at Mermaid Cottages, we believe everyone has an inner mermaid- but how often do we get to see a real mermaid, in the flesh? Not as often as we’d like, right? Well, now you can!
It is just a short trip up the road to catch a live mermaid show at the Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach, SC! Mermaid Melissa, professional mermaid extraordinaire, performs daily, four shows a day, all summer! Just look at this beautiful video!
Mermaid Melissa isn’t just a performer, she’s an ocean activist. Her motto is, “Let’s save the oceans before all creatures become mythical.” She is active in charities and also participates in events that bring awareness to the ocean and all of its inhabitants.
