After getting home last week from my road trip with mom to points Northeast, checking my cottages, making sure all is good ( and welcoming my dear friends Lynda and Gary to the island for a weekend visit- stay tuned for those details soon!) I’m off again to visit Daughter Katie in Brevard, NC. She lives on campus at the Leadership Academy, a school based right in the heart of The Pisgah Forest . She lives in a wonderful cabin, very rustic and surrounded by large trees and the rest of the campus. Here are some pictures of our trip this fall, including our visit to the local true farmer’s market! I just checked the weather on http://www.weather.com/ brrr…… high’s in the 30’s and low’s in the 20’s…… but will be a fun late fall trip!
