I’m always so excited to hear from you, our guests! One thing I also never tire of is seeing pictures guests send. The smiles and happy faces always brighten my day! I recently received one such email from Nancy with these fabulous pictures of their stay at Ya’ll Come Inn Cottage.

I’m always smiling after seeing pictures like these! Ya’ll Come Inn is a great cottage for groups for any kind…especially Paula Deen fans. Nancy even sent a picture of her signed cookbook for us to see!

Live Like a Local: Fun at The Crab Shack!

We all had a blast this weekend at Tybee’s Isiah Heritage Parade! The entire island was decked out in green, and the Luck o’ the Irish was in the air. You can’t help but smile at a parade…especially when you see something like this. This was definitely one of my favorites!

You gotta love the creativity here!

Well, the fun is far from over around here! The Crab Shack is welcoming back friends from Junkanoo World in the Bahamas! Barabbas and the Tribe will be at the Shack daily from 6 to 8 p.m. performances through March 17th. You can also see them in Savannah’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. If you haven’t experienced this amazing expression of Bahamian culture, you absolutely need to catch the show! It’s an explosion of costumes, dance, and drums you have to see to believe.

The Crab Shack is also welcoming the New York Shields Pipes and Drums Band March 18th. This is a performance Tybee looks forward to every year and its a definite must to wrap up your St. Patty’s Day in style! The show starts around 7 p.m. so make plans to be there. We hope to see you for all the fun this weekend…and don’t forget to wear your green!!

Mermaid Sighting: Mermaid Cottages and Tybee Island Accolades!

To those of us who already know and love our beautiful island, we know Tybee Island is the perfect place that happens to be a little piece of heaven on earth! Well, we are so excited to share some wonderful news. Tybee Island and Mermaid Cottages is getting noticed and we couldn’t be more proud! Tybee and Mermaid Cottages were recently featured in an article in Atlanta Magazine! Along with the wonderful words about our beautiful island, the authors of the article recommended Mermaid Cottages as the place to stay when visiting. Tybee Island has also been noticed by other outlets, and garnered some pretty awesome accolades to boot! According to the TybeeVisit website, others are figuring out how great our wonderful little island is as well. Some of Tybee’s most recent accolades are:

Mermaid Tales: Fish Camp Fabulous!

The island is all aflutter with activity. Everyone is getting ready for Spring! Mermaid Cottages is no exception…we are super excited for the warmer weather and just can’t stop ourselves from primping, preening, and fluffing to our hearts’ content. Speaking of, Fish Camp Cottage is one of those newly fluffed and fabulous homes. The cottage’s owner has been hard at work over the winter collecting cool decor and freshening up for Spring!

Fish Camp Cottage is filled with fun art, comfy places to relax, and a beautiful garden in which to wile away many a lazy afternoon. The family room has a new 37″ High Def television with a BlueRay/DVD player, and the kitchen has been refreshed with paint and new touches as well! Stay connected with complimentary highspeed internet, or choose to unplug and take it easy. Bring your furry children to enjoy Tybee too, because your cottage is cat and dog friendly!
