Voluntourism is another great way to get the most from your Tybee Island visit. In fact, there’s a super fun opportunity that’s coming up soon and all you have to do is join in for “Will Float For History“!
Grab your friends and come take a fun and relaxing float for history down the back river! The Tybee Floatilla invites you to join in this voluntourism event on Sunday, July 1st at 11:00 a.m. The floatilla will begin at Alley III and Chatham Avenue and it ends at The Crab Shack, with a short break on the Criminal Island Sandbar along the way.
To register and purchase tickets in person, visit The Crab Shack on Tybee or the Register Law Firm in Savannah. There, you will fill out a registration form and waiver and receive a koozie, rules and regulations and an entrance wrist band. You will receive a Floatilla t-shirt upon your arrival at The Crab Shack following the Float. TICKETS are $25 each.
