This week’s Mermaid Sightings comes to us from artist Robin Sterns of Ardsley Art Glass:
“Made this and thought of you: “Siren Sisters”: stained glass, glass gems, copper wire, Murano glass starfish, coral beads, Czech fish beads. 10×24″ in an oak frame. Featured at the July Tybee Arts Association show. Looking for a good home! … I love your exterior paint choices and interior decorations!!!”
Robin specializes in handmade, original-design stained glass windows, suncatchers, wind chimes, earrings, mosaics and “whatever else I can think of!” Her wind chimes have handmade fused glass chimes. Her windows are made from upcycled vintage glass and framed in oak. There’s even a special selection of holiday glass. See more of her work at Ardsley Art Glass on Facebook and check out her Etsy store at http://etsy.com/shop/ardsleyartglass.
“Better yet, contact me and I’ll customize a piece just for you!” E-mail: ardsleyartglass (at symbol) gmail.com.
We so love Siren Sisters because the mermaids are holding hands which is how we like to work together, with and for our community and it’s how we celebrate our guests! Thank you, Robin, for sharing your extraordinary talents with us!
There are mermaids waiting to be shared from your life, too. Post them to our Facebook, Twitter, Google+, You Tube and Pinterest sites and you could be featured in an upcoming Mermaid Sightings blog post!
