We just love to enjoy our local shrimp for dinner. Before I moved here I always steamed my shrimp. Now I cook them the Tybee way. Super easy and so delicious. Get a big pot of water and bring to a full boil. Add the shrimp. Let them boil in the water for exactly 4 minutes. Take them out and put in a colander to drain. Then toss with lots and lots of old bay seafood seasoning and some fresh lemon wedges. That’s it!!!! Enjoy!

It’s not hoarding if it’s Vintage, right? The Mermaid Brigade wandered into a pre-sale garage sale today and we just might be in need of a friendtervention!
On Saturday and Sunday (May 4 & 5), we need everyone to come to #6 Pulaski Street (corner of Pulaski and Van Horne near the lighthouse) and buy up all of this stuff before we can get our hands on it.
They’ve got memorabilia from way back including, toys, books, silver and crystal pieces, trunks, suitcases, furniture and lots of chotskies! If y’all don’t come and buy stuff you just might see us on an upcoming episode of “Hoarders”. It’s all great “got-to-have-it” stuff!
It’s not hoarding if it’s Vintage, right? Go ahead and buy it. We’ll be there cheering y’all on!
