Celebrate The End Of Tybee Spring

Tom CoolerCome celebrate the end of Tybee’s Spring.  The final concert performance for the spring series of Third Thursdays on Tybee is May 15th.  Come join us down by the Tybrisa/Strand Roundabout in downtown Tybee. Bring a chair, stroll the shops and grab a bite to eat while you enjoy music by the sea.

This springtime finale will feature Tom Cooler.  As a local songwriter, Cooler enjoys life along the coast of Georgia and he’s looking forward to sharing his inspired-by-life songs for all ages to enjoy. With faith, reflection and the continued pursuit of optimism, Cooler’s songs tell stories that will inspire you to sing along. Having performed at numerous indoor venues, Cooler looks forward to performing outdoors “down front” where the ocean breezes blow.

Businesses throughout the Main Corridor welcome you to stop in while you are enjoying the May 15th musical performance. In case of any rain, Tom Cooler will perform inside a neighboring restaurant.

The view from Tybee Tides

Why not plan the rest of your visit around the water, too.  Originally built in the 1930’s as a fish camp, this very basic fish shack has been completely restored and decorated with wonderful regional and local art. A featured home on the 2007 Tybee Tour of Homes, Tybee Tides circa 1930 sits directly across the street from the marsh with sunset viewing at its best.  This gorgeous cottage is pet-friendly and has a large fenced-in yard.  There’s also complimentary high speed and WiFi Internet service.  You’ll also enjoy an upgraded gas grill for outdoor cooking and the complimentary off-street parking for three cars.

A sunset at Tybee Tides

Come celebrate the end of Tybee’s Spring and help us usher in all the sun and fun of the season.  We’ve saved some of our most spectacular sunrises and sunsets just for you and they go perfectly with our cozy cottages and coastal charm.
