It’s Summer and that means it’s time for Tybee’s happy movies by the sea! Every third Saturday evening during the summer months, Tybeetians and beach goers plop down for a picnic and a movie at Memorial Park. These family friendly movies will be projected on the side of the Tybee Gym compliments of the City of Tybee Island’s Development Authority and Tybee’s Main Street Program and Partners. On Saturday, August 15, we’ll be watching Earth To Echo!
Tuck, Munch and Alex are a trio of inseparable friends whose lives are about to change. Their neighborhood is being destroyed by a highway construction project that is forcing their families to move away. But just two days before they must part ways, the boys begin receiving a strange series of signals on their phones. Convinced something bigger is going on, they team up with another school friend, Emma, and set out to look for the source of their phone signals. What they discover is something beyond their wildest imaginations: a small alien who has become stranded on Earth. In need of their help, the four friends come together to protect the alien and help him find his way home. This journey, full of wonder and adventure, is their story, and their secret.

This is a fully restored and renovated historic Tybee beach cottage! Guests love its outdoor shower, its bike rack its two awesome porches. It’s located in the quiet Back River district and it has partial views of the Back River from its porch!
Canty’s Cottage circa 1957 Bedrooms: 3 Bathrooms: 1.25 Sleeps: 6 Pets: Dogs
This is a vintage, mid-century modern ground level beach home. Guests love its large, fully-fenced back yard with it’s own adorable Tybee Tiki Hut for your enjoyment! You’ll be just 1.5 blocks to the Alley Three kayak launch site and those gorgeous Tybee sunsets over the Back River!
