Fish Camp Cottage circa 1950 has added more rooms and features to enhance your enjoyment and future stays. Guests have always loved this bright and cheerful cottage and she’s been a media darling and a Cover Girl over the years. Fish Camp Cottage is a true Tybee gem that is now an even better value as your home-away-from-home.
Just driving up to this adorable cottage makes you happy and it instantly reminds you you’re on vacation. It’s sensory delight from the driveway. Enjoy your strolls through the fabulous yard with a firepit, a garden and plenty of seating for all. Enchanting!
The kitchen is bright, cheery and sparkling clean, with just about everything you need (sorry, we don’t supply the wine, just the wine openers).
So what’s new?
The new living room has lots of spreading out space for reading and contemplating.
The main queen bedroom is next to a half bath and an office area, off the living room. You don’t even have to wait for an official “vacation”. With our complimentary free WiFi and Internet, you can remote work and remote learn right here.
The second queen bedroom is a true treat, too. It’s next to the full bathroom (with tub/shower combo) and it has its own outdoor very private hot/cold shower ~ you’ll want to get clean after a day on the beach and experience the real luxury of a shower al fresco.
The third bedroom has a daybed with a trundle to comfortably sleep two. All new entertainment options have been added at Fish Camp, too. The TV in the new living room has cable TV. It’s also a Smart TV so if a guest has an account with Netflix or other pay services you can log in and use your account. The TV in the master bedroom has cable TV. The TV in the new third bedroom is a Smart TV with cable, too. There’s even a DVD player and DVDs here, as well. The TV in bedroom two (the bedroom off the outdoor shower) has antenna TV. It does have buttons for Amazon and Netflix for guests with their own account.
You’ll still be able to indulge in the screened porch and the big back deck with partial marsh views.
Things are much more open now so bubble up with your close friends and family. Our very adorable A Shore Thing circa 1949 is just three doors away and Tybee Tides circa 1930 is right behind Fish Camp. You could have a whole Mermaid extended friends and family gathering!

The neighborhood is so beautiful this time of year and still only one block to AJ’s Dockside Restaurant– the best place on the island to watch sunsets and to enjoy dinner and drinks. Guests always love the complimentary off-street parking for three cars.
Fish Camp Cottage has added more rooms and we can hardly wait for you to experience the wonderful new updates. Start planning your late summer and fall vacations and celebrations right on our website or give us a call so our Mermaid-On-Duty can assist with your vacation planning!
