The fun starts Friday, September 2nd, with the Tybee Arts Association’s Art and Craft Show! The theme of the show is Endless Summer and there will be everything from paintings to stained glass, sculpture to jewelry. This isn’t just a show either- it’s a sale, so come prepared to leave with your favorite discoveries! The show and sale goes on all weekend, so make sure you stop by the Tybee Arts Center. Saturday keeps the fun going with a Labor Day Fit Camp! Tybee Island was voted America’s Healthiest Beach by Health Magazine in 2009, and this year, the Labor Day Fit Camp is back! Participants will enjoy a range of activities and learn lots of easy ways to stay fit from hosts Crystal Honeycutt and Tera Wright, along with local instructors and fitness enthusiasts. You don’t want to miss it, so be at the Pier Saturday morning at 8 a.m.!
Wrap up your Tybee Island Labor Day with our Beach Bash, Sunday, September 3rd! Come out and enjoy the ocean breeze and beautiful Tybee Pier and Pavilion while live music from the Swinging Medallions fills the air. The fun and music start at 7 p.m., so come grad a spot in the sand and stick around, because the fabulous fireworks begin at night fall!
