Please make time to view an extraordinary photography exhibit at Fort Pulaski. This is the time of year when we celebrate American’s birthday and the best of summer is in full swing. Fort Pulaski National Monument is hosting a special exhibit by Tybee Island photographer and resident, Shannon Christopher. The exhibit, entitled “The Muse,” features photographs taken by Christopher throughout Fort Pulaski and Cockspur Island. The show will present 15 individual mounted and framed pieces along with a 3’ x 5’ composite of 32 images, all taken with an iPhone. Mermaid Cottages has just the right window of opportunity open for you to come and be inspired by The Muse.
