It’s time for our Mini Mermaid Labor Day Getaways! Not everyone can break away for a full four day weekend and that’s okay. We have a few cottages available for two and three night stays over the Labor Day weekend, so let’s take a look and start planning your visit.
August 30-September 4 Whitecaps, circa 1897 is an elegant, historic Officer’s Row home. It’s just steps from the beach and has ocean views from the front porch. This is on the quiet north end, so you’ll be very close to Jaycee Park and the Tybee Island Lighthouse with plenty of room to spread out.
August 31-September 4 Paula Deen’s Savannah Beach House Y’all Come Inn is available. Paula’s personal beach retreat includes special Paula Deen goodies, a personalized cookbook from Paula and VIP reservations for the Lady & Sons restaurant.
August 31/September 1 Maddie’s on Jones circa 1930 is a charming, cozy and pet friendly cottage. Just four blocks from the beach, you’ll love its special decor that details the history of Tybee Island and the Chu family. Guests love the pink outdoor shower and the gorgeous live oaks and palms.
August 31-September 2 Enlisted Men’s Mess Hall circa 1929 is a Tybee landmark originally built as the soldiers’ mess hall. Completely restored and preserved, this pet friendly cottage has a fenced-in yard, a wrap around screened porch and it’s full of history.
Most places will have a four night minimum for the holiday weekend, so our Mini Mermaid Labor Day Getaways are just right for you. This way you’ll still get to enjoy Big Engine on Saturday, August 30th, and The Swingin Medallions on Sunday, August 31st. Stop by the Savannah Craft Brew Fest on your way on to Tybee Island, shop the Tybee Arts Association’s Show and Sale and top it all off with another fantastic fireworks show.
