It’s busy time for Tybee Island vacation rentals and that means lots of guests staying a week or longer back to back. Maybe it’s not convenient for you to stay an entire week, but most places require you to book 5-7 nights at a time. What do you do? Well, thanks to the growing interest in our little barrier island we sometimes have two nights open here or three nights available there, which means more options for you! Just give us a call when you’ve got a couple of days for a getaway and say, “Give me some more Mini Mermaid Getaways!” These are also great for last minute, spur-of-the-moment road trips to the beach, too!

Every time folks visit Tybee Island for the first time (and, quite frankly, every time they visit) they say WOW! Soon, you’ll really get excited when you enjoy these top five WOW Tybee events!

AquaCurean is a gourmet seafood, spirits and music celebration, taking place at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa, April 25 — 27, 2014. The event will showcase some of best seafood and hand-crafted spirits from Savannah and around the country. The AquaCurean Challenge includes a seafood recipe competition and a hand-crafted cocktail competition. The mission of this event is to create a community event that draws participation from the local and national stages. Moreover, its goal is to raise money for children’s charities here in Savannah.

Lunch With Mary Kay Andrews

You’ve enjoyed reading her novels and fallen in love with her characters. Now, you can lunch with Mary Kay Andrews and meet the lady herself! On Wednesday, April 16th, take your place at the table and enjoy an intimate gathering that features our favorite New York Times Best Selling Author. The luncheon will be at Cohen’s Retreat 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

We can tell you MKA is just as much fun and hilarious in person, so this is a Lunch and Learn that’s not to miss. Our favorite ink slinger will be revealing her plots (The Fixer Upper, Savannah Blues and Blue Christmas and more), and she’ll also let the audience in on just where she gets her inspirations. MKA’s books will be sold at the event, so be sure to ask for an autograph, too!
