The journey begins….

History was made on November 4th, 2008.. Two extraordinary men who love our country ran for President of the United States of America. Only one could win and the American People spoke in numbers never seen before on an election day. Senator McCain was gracious in his concession speech and we are lucky to have such a man who is a true patriot and one we can all be proud to call one of our Statesmen.

Now the hard work begins. We need to come together as a nation and work to solve the many problems and challenges we face. The two wars, the economy, the broken health care system, the terrorists who still want to cause of harm to us just because we’re Americans…..

We are all in this together. I’ve always been so proud to be an American and tonight, hearing our new President elect speak , tears are flowing down my face because we can again accomplish the dreams of our founding fathers… . This is larger then just winning an election. This is about each one of us being the best we can be , about caring for each other as fellow cit zens and our country again being the shining light for the rest of the world. This is our time and …. Yes we can…

God bless all of us, God bless our President Elect and most of all, God bless the United States of America.
