It’s finally here! Christmas time! You know what that means…it’s time for the annual tree lighting on Tybee Island!
Lights On for Tybee is this Friday, December 2nd, and it is always a fun time you don’t want to miss. The festivities start up at 6:30 p.m. at the Tybrisa/Strand Roundabout. Come on down to Downtown Tybee Island and enjoy musical performances, dancing, and entertainment! Take a stroll through our beautiful little paradise and shop the quirky mix of shops and restaurants, or just enjoy the Pier and Pavilion. You can make the season even more special by stopping by the “Park of Giving” in the Park of Seven Flags! Donations for the Toys for Tots, Tybee’s Rising Tyde Food Pantry, and The Milton Project will be going on there.
The Mayor’s Motorcade begins to evening of Lights On for Tybee, but the fun continues all weekend with the always-fabulous Tybee Island Christmas Parade and the Holiday Shop and Stroll! Complementary refreshments will even be available at participating locations through the evening. It’s a fun time for everyone, and we sure hope you make it out to Tybee to enjoy the holiday festivities! Joy us and kick off the holiday season right…Tybee style!
